Spain will invite bids for two cellular telephone licences and expects to start the tender in the next few days, Transport & Communications Minister Jose Borrel said: one of the licences automatically goes to the current analogue operator, Telefonica de Espana SA; five consortia of foreign operators, Spanish banks, retail and construction firms have expressed interest in bidding for the licence.
