Cellnet Mobile Communications Ltd claims that gross connections to its network in October were 41,959 while net connections during the month were 24,932, a little better than the figures announced on Monday by Vodafone Group Plc (CI No 2,288): Cellnet reckons that it took 53% of the cellular market for the month, and that the gross connections figure was a record for any mobile network, Cellnet said.
