CELLNET COMMUNICATIONS LAUNCHES MESSAGING SERVICE

Cellnet Communications Ltd, the 60% British Telecommunications Plc-owned cellular phone service subsidiary has launched a messaging service; the voice messaging mailbox can be accessed from any phone and stores messages of up to 60 seconds for a maximum of 72 hours: an alerter that bleeps when a message is left can be added; charges for the service are set individually by Cellnet service providers.
