According to the company, the new system will enable pharmaceutical sales forces to produce quality documentation easily, ensuring that information and promotional material has the maximum targeted effectiveness.

Working on an interactive portal basis, Easymail users receive a personal service that provides them with individual document templates relevant to their particular market. The templates are preloaded with company branding and can be viewed in a live preview screen, which automatically updates as information is added. One of the key advantages to the Easymail system is that it works in conjunction with the existing CRM software, making it simple to obtain and merge recipients’ contact details and ensuring that reps are using the most up-to date information, said Cegedim Dendrite.

Such is the nature of the pharmaceutical sales force that reps often produce their mailing documents on home office equipment, meaning that the quality of invitations and promotional material is not always of a high standard. According to the company, with the Easymail system reps can overcome this problem as their completed documents are electronically sent to head office, whereby a total cost is calculated and emailed to the pharmaceutical company for authorization. Once the electronic documents have been authorized and checked for accuracy they are then produced in digital color copy by Cegedim Dendrite.

Andy Etheridge, commercial director for direct marketing solutions at Cegedim Dendrite, said: It is the simplicity of Easymail that sets it apart from other mailing systems on the market today. Sales forces do not have to take huge amounts of time off the road in order to be trained on how to use the product. We already have one company that is piloting this new system across 50 members of its sales teams, with excellent feedback so far.
