CE Software Holdings Inc, West Des Moines, Iowa is shedding 10% of its workforce in a restructuring. It will take a one-time charge of up to $900,000 to cover the cost, and also to cover an office consolidation and write-off of intangible assets and other deferred costs from its acquisition of Powercore in 1994. The developer of desktop electronic mail, scheduling and workgroup applications also plans an Internet subsidiary that will use CE’s technology and intellectual property.
