Cayenne Software Inc says it will post a net loss in excess of $1m for the second quarter, ended June 30. Analysts at First Call were expecting net income of around $0.03 per share. The company blames a recent reorganization of its sales force and sales declines in its mature structured and mainframe products. However, Cayenne says, sales of client/server and object-oriented products were strong, up 50% for the quarter.
