Global Capacity said that Cavalier, a provider of telecommunications services, has signed a two year contract to utilise its Software as a Service pricing application to update Cavalier’s back-office operations.

Global Capacity further stated that Cavalier will use a customised version of its pricing portal that reportedly consolidates Cavalier’s proprietary network infrastructure information and pricing rules with Global Capacity’s information base of access supply and pricing data to provide Cavalier with an automated means to generate pricing for off-net access requirements.

The company also claims that it leverages an information base of telecommunications supply and pricing information to offer systems and tools that automate the supply chain for access networks, from design and pricing to provisioning and network management.

Danny Bottoms, president and CEO of Cavalier, said: Global Capacity’s telecom information and pricing system allows Cavalier to have better pricing intelligence on the front end of our processes, as well as enables us to make better decisions after we bring on new customers.

Global Capacity, a subsidiary of Capital Growth Systems, provides telecommunications supply chain management system to streamline the process of designing, pricing, building, optimising, and managing customised communications networks.
