CASIO WORKS ON FIX FOR CASSIOPEIA BUG

By CBR Staff Writer

Casio Computer Co is working on a bug in the system software of its Cassiopeia hand-held computer which apparently drains the battery even when the power is off, which can lead to complete memory loss. Casio says it and Microsoft Corp have identified the problem and are working on a fix, but although the machine runs the much maligned Windows CE, PC Week apparently traced the fault to a bug in Casio’s own keyboard driver.
