CareTech Solutions, an information technology (IT) and web products and services provider, has signed a three-year agreement Integris Health to provide web services.

CareTech said that it will be implementing its CareWorks CMS content management system to support Integris Health’s 13 hospitals, led in the Oklahoma City area by Integris Baptist Medical Center and Integris Southwest Medical Center. It will utilise its CareWorks CMS product, a module-based engine for building hospital websites, to create customisable websites for Integris Health.

Once complete, functionality on Integris Health’s public-facing websites will include a physician finder, a newsletter engine, online giving and donations and class-registration interfaces, e-greeting cards and few other functions, the company said.

Reportedly, CareTech will implement its BoardNet application to support Integris Health’s board. BoardNet is a permission-based web communications portal providing board members internet-based access to information supporting effective decision making, including board meeting minutes, financial statements and more.

Chris Catallo, director of web products and services at CareTech, said: “A hospital’s website has increasingly become the first stop for consumers searching for the answers they need about their own healthcare and healthcare providers, making the need for interactivity critical in creating an engaging online experience for consumers.”
