Patni provides offshore and outsourced services to insurance companies. According to the contract, which is valued at $300,000, the company will utilize the ClaimPack product to process medical and property and casualty claims for insurance companies.
Captiva said its ClaimPack platform automates data and image capture from paper and electronic claim forms using scanning, image processing and recognition technologies. It is designed to increase the accuracy of the data collected and improve customer service by speeding claim turnaround time.
