Capita Group Plc, the London-based outsourcing and business services group, has won a 29m pound contract to provide a payroll and pensioners service for the Metropolitan Police Service over the next seven years. Capita, which says it administers pensions and payroll services for 3.1 million people, beat five other companies for the contract.
