Capgemini, a provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, said that its subsidiary, Capgemini Canada, has signed a CAD650m (€500m) contract extension to 2015 with North American transmission and distribution electric utility Hydro One Networks.

Under the contract, Capgemini will provide business process outsourcing (BPO), information technology outsourcing (ITO) and core systems support services to Hydro One in order to support their business needs.

The contract extension calls for Capgemini to continue to provide services including, source-to-pay, finance and accounting, settlements and customer service and billing as well as HR/payroll; infrastructure management and applications management services; and implementation and optimisation of Hydro One’s packaged core systems, including SAP.
