Rhone-Poulenc Films, the division of the chemical giant that manufactures polyester and metallic films for industrial packaging and audio and video use, has retained Cap Sesa SA, the French subsidiary of Cap Gemini Sogeti SA, to implement a new information system. The company hired Cap Sesa to integrate its existing system of three different computers onto an Hewlett-Packard Co system running SAP AG’s R/3 software. RP Films will manage the project, while Cap Sesa handles the prototyping and integration, Cap Gemini said, adding that it expects the market for contracts tied to SAP system implementation to grow 30% a year for the next few years.
