French computer services firm Cap Gemini Sogeti SA has a contract from Airbus Industrie to design and make its first computer-aided design system to enable cabins to be created according to specific airline customers needs: the deal, worth $500,000 to $1m, is for the Cabin Configuration-Computer Aided Design, which seeks the best use of space within the cabin while respecting international safety rules, constraints linked with the way the aircraft is made and client needs.
