The first half saw a 20% slippage in net profits (see page seven) and French computer services giant Cap Gemini Sogeti SA says it expects profitability to be much lower in 1992 than the 6% growth in net profit it has averaged over the past 10 years: the company blames the economic crisis in all the countries where it does business; The second half should not show any notable changes in the unfavourable conditions characterising the general economic environment and the area of the group’s activities, it said; in this particularly difficult context, profitability for the 1992 financial year should be far below the historical profitability of the group, it warned.
