Underlining what straits once omnipotent Cap Gemini Sogeti finds itself these days, the company has at last removed its malign presence from Sema Group Plc’s shareholder register, selling its stake, now down to 27.6%, in Sema, and making a $12.5m capital gain in the process. The shares were placed by James Capel with a number of international institutional investors, and the two suggest that now the cause of friction is gone, they can work together.
