Cap Gemini Sogeti SA has increased its stake in Sema Group Plc to 18.9% from 13.6% – yes, the alarm bells 28.98% in the Financial Times yesterday was a typo: under French accountancy rules the Paris-based company must have 20% of Sema’s equity before December 31 if it wants to consolidate its share of Sema’s profits, so it seems likely that it will acquire another slice of the Sema pie before too long.
