Systems integrator Cap Gemini Sogeti has announced the setting up of a support, marketing and research and development centre for its 13 European divisions in a reorganisation designed to prepare the group for the Single European market. The new company, called Cap Gemini Europe Support, will operate out of Paris and is to be headed by Christer Ugander, former president of Cap Gemini Europe, a post now held by Alain Lemaire of Cap-Sesa. Cap Gemini did $87.5m net on sales of $1,667m in 1989.
