The board of Cap Gemini SA, the Paris, France-based IT services company, has confirmed its provisional first-half results of July 6, 1999 (CI No 3,697). Consolidated and audited net income were up 67% – including an exceptional income of FFr150m ($24m) – at FFr878m ($142m) on revenue that rose 16.2% to FFr14.4bn ($2.3bn). Earnings per share increased 86% to FFr13 ($0.02) over the same period in 1998. Cap had previously reported that while its overall financial situation is satisfactory its US revenue dropped by 6%.
