Cap Gemini Sogeti SA released its audited 1993 results on Thursday, reporting, as expected, a 7.4% decline in revenues (4% at constant exchange rates) to the equivalent of $1,900m, for a consolidated net loss of $63.2m million, up from a loss last time of $37.2m. Following a minority payment of $12m, Cap Gemini shows a net loss for the group of $75.3m. At the same meeting, the board decided that the fund-raising heralded at the announcement of preliminary results in February will take the form of a rights issue of new shares. Sogeti, Cap Gemini’s main shareholder, confirmed its intention to take up its rights with respect to its full 61.5% shareholding. The exact date and details of the offer will be dependent on market conditions.
