CAP BUYS DATA NETWORKS

By CBR Staff Writer

The independence of Data Networks Plc, the management buyout from London Transport (CI No 472), was shortlived, and CAP Group Plc accompanied its splendid year-end figures – see page three – with news that it is to acquire the company for UKP4.75m in new CAP shares and up to UKP6.6m over three years in performance payments. Data Networks specialises in facilities management and brings another UKP12 annual turnover to the UKP79m announced by CAP for its 1987 fiscal yesterday.
