Canon Inc’s Costa Mesa, California-based Canon Computer Systems Inc unit unveiled a new line of color BubbleJet printers, the BJC-240, BJC-4200, BJC-620 and Macintosh- and Windows-compatible BJC-4550. All four include Canon Creative 2 software, also just unveiled, which includes Windows-compatible applications. Canon Computer also announced Photo and Neon Inks, which are optional with the new Bubble Jet printers. The BJC0-620 will be available in September, the other three in this month. They are priced from an estimated $180 to $500. For all its color BubbleJet printers, Canon also offers Adobe Systems Inc’s PostScript for around $100. The company also unveiled the LBP-465 personal laser printer, which Canon says will cost around $360.
