Canon to showcase digital radiography products

Canon Medical Systems, a division of Canon USA, has developed a full line of digital radiography (DR) products that feature a variety of medical technology innovations designed to bring high-quality, cost-effective medical imaging to medical professionals.

The company plans to display a range of its DR systems and solutions at the upcoming Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting. This will include portable DR solutions, general DR solutions, Canon DR image viewer software, and the Canon mobile access station system.

Tsuneo Imai, director and general manager of Canon Medical Systems, said,

Canon has a strong optical and imaging heritage. This heritage has allowed Canon to make a significant mark in the medical imaging market, particularly when it comes to high-quality, affordable DR solutions and innovations.

We are going to continue to develop and deliver medical imaging solutions that will set the standard for industry innovation for years to come, he continued.
