CANON TO SELL ITS AX PC THROUGH ZERO ONE STORES

From February next year, Canon Inc is to sell its AX personal computer through the Zero One stores originally set up to sell its US partner, Apple Computer Inc’s products: there are currently 30 Zero One shops around Japan, and the chain is to be expanded to 100 within two years; the AX micros will be demonstrated and sold alongside Apple Macintoshes, Canon products, and Hewlett Packard Co minis and laser printers, which Canon also handles; Canon’s AX PC is a small footprint 32-bit machine, and is goes on general release in February.
