CANON TO PRODUCE LASER PRINTERS IN US AS WELL AS JAPAN

Canon Inc says it will partially shift production of laser printers from Japan to its new Newport News, Virginia plant, starting in June, and will employ about 100 making about 10,000 laser printers a month there at full production, with another 30,000 a month in Japan.
