Canon India Pvt. Ltd, a unit of Japan’s Canon Computer Corp, will be setting up a small production
facility to manufacture spare parts for its color and black and white copiers on the outskirts of the
Indian capital, New Delhi. Expected to be operational in two months times, the plant will start small
by producing 100 units a month. The firm also plans to set up a manufacturing facility with a capacity
of 10,000 units a month in the near future but the location and investment are still to be finalized.
