Canon Inc has developed Japan’s first ink-jet facsimile machine, using technology borrowed from its BubbleJet printer: with assistance from its own semiconductor manufacturing technology, Canon developed a new type of print head with more holes than in the nozzle, permitting the development of a compact unit with high resolution, it says.
