The platform is designed to allow Canadian brokers to upload policies to AXA as incomplete new business and receive an immediate transaction confirmation. They are then automatically signed into AXA’s existing Policy portal to complete and issue the policy.
The platform not only offers AXA a new channel to secure more business through its broker network, it makes it easy for brokers to upload policies to AXA’s backend systems using their existing BMS, said Bruce Moore, senior technical analyst of AXA Canada. Tech Brokers either key policies using our existing Policy portal or enter policies into their own system and click on a button to send the policy to AXA.
The next phase of the implementation is expected to support an automated quoting system where brokers can obtain real-time quotes. It will also support policy migration and conversion in the event of a merger or acquisition.
