Commtouch Software Ltd, which sells email security systems, said yesterday that, based on the spam it analyzed over the previous seven days, only 1% of it was compliant with CAN-SPAM, and that it saw no significant change in spam volumes.

Among other things, CAN-SPAM requires a working opt-out link and physical mailing address to be included in each email. Commtouch said it would continue to monitor compliance and publish the results.
