CAMBRIDGE TECHNOLOGY TO ACQUIRE AXIOM FOR $19m IN SHARES

Ambitious Massachusetts systems integrator Cambridge Technology Partners Inc has acquired Axiom Inc in a deal whereby it will pay up to 342,197 new shares, currently worth about $19m. Axiom, San Francisco, is a management consultancy specialising in business process changes, making it complementary to Cambridge’s rapid application development services.Formed in 1988, Axiom had 1994 revenues of $13.5m and has 100 employees.
