Calluna, the Glenrothes, Scotland maker of tiny disk drives, says it is in an advanced stage of negotiation with potential business partners to market its new slimline PCMCIA type II disk drive, which can store 1Gb of data on a drive 1.8-inches wide and 5mm thick. The company made the statement following a share hike last week on rumors of big marketing deals or even a takeover. On Friday the shares rose a further 5% to 15.75 pence.
