The application is aimed at large and mid-sized insurance companies with large independent distribution channels consisting of agents, brokerages, and wholesalers. It provides a central management application for viewing and updating credential checks and commissions relating to the individual members of the channel.
The web-based application is deployed through Callidus’s portal which provides authentication through single-sign-on and authorization through the creation of roles and group permissions. It also supports LDAP and Microsoft Active Directory.
The company, which made its name providing software that automated sales commission payments, pitches TrueProducer as means of increasing loyalty within the insurance distribution channels by improving the service they receive, while also decreasing the cost of servicing the channel because all the key information is available through one interface. Integration with Callidus’s TruComp application means compensation-related data does not have to be re-entered.
