Callidus Software, a provider of Sales Performance Management (SPM), has launched MySalesCoach, a next-gen coaching application for mobile devices based on Callidus ForceLogix SalesForce Optimiser.

The new app increases the effectiveness of the sales force by enabling sales users to collaborate on deals as they occur, in the context of deal engagements, said the company.

In addition, field-based observations can easily be synchronised to the on demand ForceLogix SalesForce Optimizer technology. The app is fully location aware, enabling users to track sessions based on location, territory, and customer, the company said.

Callidus Software marketing senior vice-president Lorna Heynike said Callidus’ extension of their sales mobility platform to their newly acquired coaching offering will enable sales people to apply real time coaching to their daily sales situations wherever they are.

"Our new MySalesCoach app based on the Callidus Mobile Platform delivers a fast, easy user experience that helps enforce a culture of pervasive coaching throughout the sales organisation – a proven characteristic of high-performance sales forces," Heynike said.

The company said that its offerings manage the entire sales talent life cycle from onboarding to incentives and rewards, to coaching and performance optimisation, while providing visibility into operations and financial performance.

The application will be available on the iPad and Android platforms in the second quarter of 2011.
