CALIFORNIA SOFTWARE PRODUCTS RELEASES NEW DATA SECURITY SYSTEM

By CBR Staff Writer

California Software Products Inc has released a new data security system for System 36 users and personal computers or PS/2s running the Baby/36 RPG II system: Intercept/36 protects menu-driven applications by restricting access to authorised users and automatically logging unauthorised attempts to access restricted data; it protects completed applications, menus, or individual jobs by means of identification and password; a random password generation facility allows automatic regeneration and replacement of all passwords across protected menus, data and applications.
