Milpitas, California-based California Micro Devices Corp has moved its strategic alliance with Hitachi Metals Ltd forward and has formally entered into a $14.7m joint development agreement for the fiscal year to June 30 1995: Hitachi Metals will contribute 50% of the budget for development to increase the capabilities of thin film technology technology passive components for mobile computing, telecommunication and multimedia applications.
