Caldera, Hummingbird to Market Business Software on Linux

Users of OpenLinux will soon get more desktop client connectivity options thanks to a co-marketing and development alliance between Hummingbird Communications Ltd and Caldera Systems Inc. The deal will see Hummingbird’s Exceed, HostExplorer, NFS Maestro Server, Client, Gateway and Solo made available to Caldera’s Linux customers. Hummingbird’s overwhelming presence in the desktop- to-enterprise host market enables us to respond to customers with a need for Windows-based connectivity to Linux systems with a robust and reliable solution, explained Caldera president and CEO Ransom Love.
