Toronto, Canada-based CAE Inc reports that its German division CAE Elektronik GmbH has been awarded a contract worth up to another $166m to build four more flight simulators for the German Army aviation school. The Canadian company said the contract included an option to deliver eight additional primary flight training helicoptor simulators. The initial contract was worth $74.2m for the first four simulators and the the optional additional systems were worth $92m, it said. CAE said the first four systems would be delivered at the beginning of 1999 and the additional simulators in 1999 and 2000.
