We hear Cadence Design Systems Inc is keen to hang on to the little Linux expertise it has. It has a network of Linux clients and servers hanging off a Sun server in a far flung division that it inherited with one of its myriad acquisitions. Cadence doesn’t currently have any exposure to Linux except via third parties.
