CACI INTERNATIONAL RECEIVES SUIT FROM PENTAGEN

By CBR Staff Writer

Pentagen Technologies International Ltd said it filed a lawsuit in the New York state supreme court against CACI International Inc seeking $8m for the conversion of software which the US Army was seeking to obtain by licence: the suit alleges that for 15 months while the Army blocked funds for the licensing of Pentagen’s software, CACI deprived Pentagen of its software by failing to acknowledge Pentagen’s rights in it, and that CACI returned the software only after the Army released the blocked funds for other projects – by then, the contract, worth $8m had been lost.
