Woodbury, New York-based Cablevision Systems Corp and Motorola Inc are conducting trials to create the engineering parameters for cable-based Personal Communication Network, Cablevision said: the tests will measure both the technical and economic feasibility of integrating Cablevision’s exclusive Personal Communications Network architecture with the advanced radio technology that’s being developed by Motorola.
