Cabletron Systems Inc – celebrating its acquisition of Digital Equipment Corporation’s networking business – faces a class action suit alleging fraud and deceptive business practices. Buyers of the company’s stock between March and June this year claim that $19m of Cabletron’s stock was sold at inflated prices as a result of false and misleading statements.
