Cable & Wireless Plc is interested in operating the Japanese Personal Handy Phone enhanced Telepoint system in China and Hong Kong, the London company’s executive chairman Lord Young said. Reuter quotes him as saying that the company is already running trials in Hong Kong and talking to Peking about expanding the system into China.
