Cable & Wireless Plc has upgraded its representative office in Tokyo to a whollyowned subsidiary: the new Cable and Wireless (Japan) is capitalised at $860,000, and was established in anticipation of the completion of the US-Japan International Digital Communications cable in which it is a major holder.
