The shares Cable & Wireless Plc sold on Thursday (CI No 992) turned out to have been the last of its Racal Electronics Plc shares – it had been trickling out parcels of the 2.8% holding over several weeks – and made a profit of at least UKP14m – some put it as high as UKP16.6m – making a tidy turn on its four-month adventure in the stock.
