Cable & Wireless Plc used the opening day of the Hannover Fair, computer department, to announce that it would offer global networks for business customers by the end of the year: its global digital fibre optic network now reaches 52 countries and is currently being expanded in Europe, with Barcelona and several other cities to be added soon; users save 52.3% when calling the US from Germany on its virtual private network, the company said.
