By CBR Staff Writer

Cabinet La Puce, a Cameroon, Africa, computer company (we kid you not) specialising in custom software development, has picked Wicat Systems Inc, Orem, Utah to supply education hardware and software for the first computer-based school to be established in the country: the school will offer computer courses in programming, maths, reading and writing, and installation of the Wicat system is set for September; the $118,000 contract will include courseware, parts and delivery stations, and a happy Jean Ngoya, president of Cabinet La Puce and of the Computer Society of Cameroon, declares We have a huge untapped market for education, training and general systems computers in Cameroon – businesses and government are just beginning to use computers on a large scale; as we break new ground, we find Wicat Systems offers the best solutions and greatest support to get us underway.
