SteelCloud will put the eTrust software in heavily secured hardware. Next month, the eTrust Antivirus device will ship as the AVG 3000 and 5000, to be followed by appliances based on eTrust Intrusion Detection in the fall.

Appliances are generally popular in commodity markets and in small enterprise or departmental deployments, where companies are looking for systems with relatively low support and maintenance overheads.
