Computer Associates International Inc announced last week that it has completed the disposal of several products which it acquired when it bought Platinum Technology Inc in May. A collection of management tools for job scheduling and restarting, storage, console alert systems and software configuration, has been sold to Allen Systems Group, a Naples, Florida enterprise productivity software firm. They include Autosys/Zeke, AutoSys/GWS, AutoRerun, AutoMedia, AutoAction and LifeCycle Manager. Their disposal should satisfy the US Department of Justice, which made their sale a condition of its approval for the Platinum takeover. No financial terms of the deal were disclosed.
