Computer Associates International Inc has announced a joint venture with India’s Pentafour Software, which will utilize the technology of ACCPAC International, a business unit of CA’s interBiz division. The joint venture comes as part of CA’s $100m investment plan in India over a five-year period announced in 1997. In addition to a financial investment in the joint venture, CA said it will provide ACCPAC technology, a comprehensive line of accounting and business management software that includes financial management, operations management and e-business solutions.
