CA unveils new version of its converged infrastructure management application

CA Technologies has introduced the new version of its converged infrastructure management application, Infrastructure Management (CA IM).

The new version translates disparate performance data and deliver actionable insight in unified, user-specific views by integrating CA Technologies Service Assurance portfolio elements, enabling enterprise and service provider customers to improve service quality, predictability and efficiency, the company said.

With the new version, customers can now resolve performance problems up to 25 times faster and reduce total cost by as much as 50%, the company said.

CA Technologies Enterprise Management general manager Mike Sargent said: "We developed CA Infrastructure Management to help our enterprise and service provider customers capture, engage and retain customers by offering a superior and differentiated customer experience."

With CA Infrastructure Management, IT can access graphic displays of the specific information they need to improve service quality and deliver an enhanced customer experience with less effort and reduced costs.

CA IM also helps enterprise IT personnel in managing bring your own device (BYOD), video and application complexity in virtualised infrastructures, communication service providers in simplifying and accelerating 4G network rollouts and managed service providers in creating new sources of revenue and onboard new clients faster.

By integrating with other Service Assurance applications, CA IM helps customers gain service visibility to ensure the availability and performance of business services and the infrastructures they rely on.
